As per the latest DOH advisory, senior citizens and frontline health workers can now get their 2nd COVID-19 booster shot!
The recommended interval from the 1st booster to the 2nd booster is 4 MONTHS. Furthermore, brands for the 2nd booster include Moderna and Pfizer brands only.
Note: Please be informed that Republic Act 11525 known as the "ACT ESTABLISHING THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) VACCINATION PROGRAM EXPEDITING THE VACCINE PROCUREMENT AND ADMINISTRATION PROCESS, PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFORE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES'' specifically limits the private sale of vaccines only to employers for use of their employees, employee dependents, and contracted employees. Employers allowed to procure vaccines may be corporations, partnerships, and single proprietorships.
